Terms, authorization and privacy
Effective September 3, 2026 · BillSlash Solutions LLC, doing business as BillSlash
1. Service
BillSlash is an independent bill-negotiation and administrative support service. With your authorization, we may contact your selected cable, internet, telephone, or similar service provider; discuss your account and current plan; request available promotions, discounts, credits, fee waivers, or approved plan changes; and obtain confirmation of a negotiated result.
You remain responsible for paying your provider. BillSlash is not your provider and does not provide loans, debt settlement, credit repair, legal advice, or investment advice.
2. Your authority and responsibilities
You must be at least 18 and be the account holder or have lawful authority to act for the account holder. You agree to provide accurate information, disclose all restrictions, respond to provider-verification requests, and review provider confirmations and BillSlash notices.
Unless you separately approve, BillSlash will not cancel service, make payments to your provider, purchase equipment, add paid services, or accept a new long-term commitment carrying an early-termination fee.
3. Deposit and success fee
A $25 refundable deposit is charged at enrollment. If BillSlash does not obtain qualifying savings, no success fee is owed and the deposit is refunded. If BillSlash obtains qualifying savings, the success fee is 25% of the confirmed savings during the provider-confirmed promotional or benefit period. The $25 deposit is credited toward that fee.
Formula: 25% × confirmed qualifying savings − $25 deposit credit = remaining success-fee charge, with a minimum remaining charge of $0.
A successful negotiation occurs when the provider confirms a measurable new rate, promotion, discount, credit, fee waiver, or other approved financial benefit obtained through BillSlash’s work.
4. Saved payment method and automatic charge
By accepting the payment authorization and completing Stripe checkout, you authorize BillSlash to charge the $25 deposit, securely save the payment method through Stripe, and later charge the remaining success fee when you are not actively completing checkout. BillSlash does not store your full card number.
After a successful negotiation, BillSlash will email a Savings Summary showing the prior price, negotiated price, promotional period, qualifying savings, 25% success fee, deposit credit, remaining amount, and scheduled charge date. You have three calendar days after that notice is sent to report a good-faith calculation or provider-implementation error. Unless a timely dispute requires review, the saved payment method will be charged on the stated date.
5. Cancellations and refunds
If no qualifying savings are secured, the $25 deposit is refunded. If you cancel after BillSlash has completed a successful negotiation, the deposit is retained as part of the earned fee and the properly calculated remaining success fee remains due. The three-day period is for reviewing errors; it is not a free cancellation period after BillSlash has earned the fee.
If a provider fails to implement the confirmed result, or if BillSlash verifies a calculation, duplicate-payment, or processing error, BillSlash will pause, correct, or refund the affected amount as appropriate. Bank and card-network processing times may delay the appearance of a refund.
6. Provider bills and no guarantee
Provider bills may include taxes, surcharges, prorations, usage, equipment, past-due balances, or unrelated activity. BillSlash calculates its fee only from confirmed qualifying savings. Providers control eligibility, pricing, implementation, and service quality; BillSlash cannot guarantee a particular reduction or duration.
7. Failed payments and disputes
If an authorized payment fails, BillSlash may retry it or request an updated payment method. Contact billslash1@gmail.com before the scheduled charge date to report a calculation or implementation error. Revoking authorization prospectively does not erase a success fee already earned, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
8. Privacy policy
Information collected
BillSlash may collect your name, email, phone number, provider and account information, service address, bill and plan details, account number, temporary PIN or verification code, restrictions, authorization and consent records, negotiation notes, provider confirmations, payment status, card brand and last four digits, Stripe identifiers, communications, and ordinary website/device data.
How information is used
We use information to provide and document negotiations, verify authority, honor restrictions, calculate savings and fees, process payments and refunds, send service notices, provide support, prevent fraud, secure the service, maintain business records, and comply with law.
Sharing
We may share information as reasonably necessary with your provider; Stripe; Tally; website hosting, email delivery, storage, analytics, security, and customer-management vendors; professional advisers; and legal authorities. We do not sell personal information for money.
Retention and security
BillSlash uses reasonable safeguards and retains records for legitimate business, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal purposes. Temporary PINs and verification codes should be deleted or made inaccessible promptly after negotiation unless needed for an active issue. No system is completely secure; do not send provider passwords or full card information to BillSlash.
Your requests
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of certain information by emailing billslash1@gmail.com.
9. Electronic communications
You consent to receive agreements, authorizations, Savings Summaries, charge notices, receipts, and other service communications electronically. Electronic acceptance has the same effect as a signature to the extent permitted by law. Keep a working email address and review your spam folder.
10. General terms
The service is intended for adults. BillSlash may decline or stop an enrollment for inaccurate information, lack of authority, suspected fraud, abusive conduct, provider restrictions, nonpayment, or legal risk. These terms are governed by West Virginia law without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply where you reside. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply.
